The Bad of PowerPoint
Their is always a good and a bad to everything. PowerPoint is no different. The major bad that can result from PowerPoint is that students can lose interest. If their is no activity or fun part in the PowerPoint then students tend to not take notes or they fall asleep. Also when you are using a PowerPoint within a lesson it is hard to tell that students are taking notes on your PowerPoint. PowerPoint's are great to use within your lessons, just make sure it brings in an active part as well that way you keep your students interested in the lesson and PowerPoint.

I agree John, nothing is worst than having a teacher use a PowerPoint that should help you take notes bore you to death. I hated when teachers and now professors would just put everything they said on the PowerPoint. When you put things on the PowerPoint, put general topics and what you speak should substitute the rest of the information. It makes students feel like they are illiterate because they are being read to.
